In the early days of the pandemic, we knew we needed to provide our AbleTo employees with an increased level of support as they faced new and unique challenges brought on by COVID-19. Our SVP of People and Culture Stephanie Carroll, MBA and Chief Medical Officer Reena Pande write for BenefitsPRO about the key steps AbleTo took to ensure employee needs were both heard and met, and how company culture played a key role in that approach.
It's official! We're proud to be named a Great Place to Work-Certified company by @GPTW_US. At AbleTo, we strive to put #peoplefirst and that is continuously reflected in the passion and drive of the AbleTo family. #oneteam #GPTWCertified

Congratulations to the recipients of our second-ever 'Values In Action' awards! Two times per year, our Senior Leadership team gets together to acknowledge six employees for not only their outstanding work but their exemplary demonstration of our core values. The 'Values In Action' awards are our most prestigious formal recognition program, and the recipients should be so proud of their accomplishments. Congratulations to our July 2020 award recipients: Naomi Pollock, Tony Jung, Rafael Otero, Tyler Sanchez, Leyla Holt, and Zhanna Zhanabekova. Thank you for your continued dedication to our mission of empowering people to get better and stay better!
On Saturday, May 30th, the AbleTo team sponsored and participated in NAMIWalks Your Way, a virtual walk to raise money and awareness for mental health. Although we couldn't be together, the AbleTo team has never been stronger in the fight against mental health! Special thanks to NAMI NYC for hosting a fantastic day of (virtual) events and leading us in the charge to someday bringing mental health to all!
The unprecedented times we are now facing is putting the world to the test. Despite the many obstacles, the AbleTo team has found ways to adapt and excel in this unchartered territory: "As we approach, and surpass, the one month mark working from our homes, I find myself amazed with the resiliency of all our team members," writes Trip Hofer, CEO. To show our appreciation for all our team does on a daily basis, we sent every employee a care package along with a note from Trip. Thank you for your continued dedication to our mission of empowering people to get better and stay better, especially now. We are One Team, and we will get through this, together.
To better help our AbleTo team members manage the many effects of COVID-19, our licensed clinicians and Program Advisors formed an initiative to conduct daily mindfulness sessions. Available to anyone and everyone who wish to attend, it allows us to step away from the pressures of balancing work, family, and society for just 10 minutes each day and refresh. This thoughtful initiative helps us feeling good so that we may better help those who are in need during this tough time. What a great feeling it is to be surrounded by supportive coworkers who step in at a time in need. It's another reason why we choose AbleTo. Special thanks to our Clinical Team for leading this effort!
Our team members attended a Health Tech Career Fair hosted by the Healthcare Industry Association (HCIA) at Columbia Business School (CBS). There they discussed the pain-points of the Behavioral Health market and gave insight into AbleTo's high-quality, digital solution. We love educating and networking with future healthcare leaders! Special thanks for HCIA and CBS for inviting us to this wonderful event!
This past winter, our senior leadership team got together to recognize and award individuals who best exemplified our Core Values: People First, One Team, Stay Curious, Sweat the Small Stuff, Let Change Fuel You, and Make a Difference. It is an honor to award our first annual 'Values in Action' Core Value awards to Al Soyster, Garth Bennett, Ingrid Liu, Heidi Greenberger, Jenn Bai, and Matt Benton. We are so grateful for your hard work!
