Twenty five members from AstraZeneca Bangalore participated in the Pride Run on 8 September 2019. The run, organised every year to promote the use of green energy, was sponsored by the R&D unit in Bangalore. This month, 3 of our #Cambridge employees, nicknamed 'The Brompton Boys', took part in the annual London to Cambridge Bike Ride, cycling 60 miles for our Charity of the Year, Cam Sight. Dr Jane Osbourn, Vice-President of R&D at AstraZeneca and Chair of the Bioindustry Association, has been made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the Queen’s birthday honours list for services to drug research and development.
