AstraZeneca’s Global Capability Centre, AstraZeneca India Private Ltd. was set up in September 2014 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India with the mandate to deliver best in class IT service for the global business. The GTC is committed to deliver the global mandate spanning excellence in delivery, Innovation and being a great place to work for its people. In the span of the last 4 years, our centre has grown to 2400+ employees (out of which 91% of our employees belong to Gen X and Gen Y) becoming one of the largest pharma Technology Centres in India. Our capability center is set up in the heart of the city at Ramanujan IT Park with a collaborative workspace built over 350,000 square feet, fitted with trendy interior designs and smart IT enabled meeting rooms. We are spread across 7 floors and are expanding as we continue to grow. The Centre operates 24*7 to support users across the globe. We also have an office in Bengaluru also which houses business services.
