The Clean Harbors InSite Services crew at Dow Chemical's Freeport, Texas, earned praise after working 50,000 safe hours with zero incidents in 2018 while maintaining and submitting all necessary reports. Dow presented Clean Harbors workers with its yearly Sustainability Award last month. In total, the crew has worked at the Dow Texas location for 9 years straight without a recordable incident – a total of 510,573 hours combined. "This is a great accomplishment and shows the commitment to safety culture by all employees," said InSite Program Manager Joe Martinez. "I just want to say 'thank you' to all of the Freeport employees for their safety mindset and continuing to make this a better place to work."
