FIS is among the first in the fintech industry to complete testing and certification for the FedNow Service, which launches this month. With this certification, FIS is fully ready to help its client FIs tap into the new instant payments service. To achieve certification, FIS completed a comprehensive testing curriculum, including fulfilling a checklist of requirements to confirm the ability to transmit and process ISO® 20022 messages, and attested that they are prepared to meet the requirements to successfully operate in a 24x7x365 instant payments environment.

Our new Chief Technology Officer has been driving innovation and large-scale transformations across technology startups, and Fortune 50 and Fortune 5 corporations for 25 years. In his three most recent roles, Firdaus Bhathena was a General Manager at Noom, Enterprise Chief Digital Officer at CVS Health, and Chief Digital Officer at Aetna.
