Collaborating with Seberang Perai City Council (MBSP), our P5 Green Club from Flex Penang (P5) recently launched an Eco-School Sustainability Program, inviting students from SMK Convent Butterworth to our facility. Through the program, they learned about the methods and advantages of growing plants hydroponically. To further encourage #sustainability practices, Flex also provided the school with a hydroponic DIY kit so they could set up their own hydroponic system.
In honor of India’s 75th Independence Day, a number of exciting activities were organized by Flex sites across India. A tribute and celebration to the spirit of unity and patriotism. From a dazzling fashion show that revealed our employees’ hidden modeling talent, thrilling dance and music performances that tested their stamina and singing capabilities, creative decorations that painted their offices in a series of tricolors, quizzes and debate competitions that brought out intense competitiveness to a flag hoisting activity that exemplified unity, our employees commemorated the memorable day with flourish.

Out of our 100+ sites making #sustainability a key focus, we highlight 3 sites whose impactful initiatives are contributing to a more sustainable future. Our Austin, Texas team’s conservation efforts have resulted in decreased water consumption. In Penang, Malaysia, team members helped protect wildlife in their local communities. Our Manorhamilton, Ireland team created and implemented a new process to recycle thermofil plastic. This is just a glimpse into the amazing efforts of our Flex teams globally to show their commitment to building a cleaner, healthier world.

Last Thursday, our CEO, Revathi Advaithi made her first visit to Malaysia. To make her trip unforgettable, our Penang team prepared a special dance performance, showcasing the multicultural beauty of Malaysia. Clad in sparkling and colorful traditional garments and accessories, the dance troop consisting of Flex talents and their professional dance instructors pulled off their dance with elegance and style.

As part of our Community Center Adoption Program, Flex Johor (PTP) sponsored RM3,350.90 worth of stationeries and office supplies to Pusat Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti (PDK) Nusajaya, a local welfare center that supports the learning of students with disabilities. In attendance was Mr. Fariz Bin Jaafar, Senior EHS & CSER Manager who handed the supplies to Mrs. Rosmah Binti Saim, Chairwoman of PDK Nusajaya, Johor.
