In our FY25 earnings call, H&R Block announced total revenue growth of 4.2%, EPS growth of 6.8%, and a 12% increase to our quarterly dividend—doubling it since 2016. Here are some additional highlights: 🟩 In Assisted, H&R Block improved company-owned filing volume and market share trends. For the third consecutive year, saw client growth in every segment earning $80K and above—with the fastest growth among clients earning over $100K. 🟩 In DIY, tax prep revenue grew 9.7% YoY. Enhancement made to AI Tax Assist supported a 13-point increase in conversion this year among new clients who leveraged the product. 🟩 Block Advisors had a record revenue year for Small Business services with strong performance in tax, bookkeeping, and payroll. Additionally, Wave HQ delivered 13% annual revenue growth, driven by paid products like Pro-Tier. 🟩 Spruce continues to generate growth, with accounts rising by nearly 40% in 2025. During FY25, total customer deposits exceeded $1.75 billion since its launch. Backed by a resilient business model, a clear transformation plan, and a strong leadership team to drive us forward, we are well-positioned for continued momentum as we enter the new fiscal year. The fourth iteration of our #OpenIT hackathon was a global celebration of curiosity, collaboration, and bold thinking. 🌍 Over 500 associates from the U.S., India, and Ireland came together to solve real challenges faced by our clients and teams. Many were first-time hackers, but every team embraced experimentation in the name of innovation and customer centricity. Teams formed organically across Engineering, Product, Experience Design and Marketing—each selecting their own problem statements and bringing them to life through a mix of technology and ingenuity. This year’s event saw 2X growth from last year, with: 🇮🇳 63 teams from H&R Block India 🇺🇸 21 teams from the U.S. and Ireland 👩💻 9 interns and 9 Accelerators (a brand-new cohort of early career software engineers) In two 24-hour hacks, this team has opened new efficiencies and insights for H&R Block associates with their AI-powered reporting tool.
