This past February, we had the opportunity to honor the rich heritages of the African diaspora, highlight the vital role that the Black community plays in the success of American society and culture, and increase our dialogue around diversity and inclusion for Black History Month. Among other members in our Black and African American Employee Network, Elizabeth reflected on what last month’s theme, Black Health and Wellness, meant to her.

Lazard is a proud supporter of healthcare equality and inclusive benefit opportunities for our LGBTQAI+ employees and their families. We have recently introduced one of the first comprehensive health platform services in the United States, Included Health for the LGBTQAI+ community. The platform’s coordinators will assist our employees and family members with finding in-network providers, navigating benefits, and connecting to educational and peer support on a variety of LGBTQAI+ topics.
Samir, an associate in Lazard’s Madrid office, recently completed the World Triathlon’s Ironman, which included a 3.8km swim, 180km bike cycle, and a 42.2km run. Samir trained 12 hours per week for 12 months in preparation for the multisport race while working at Lazard.
At the first Lazard Climate Conference, academic climate researchers and Lazard’s financial professionals discussed our groundbreaking research on the impact of climate change on companies and markets. According to our latest Levelized Cost of Energy (#LCOE) analysis, regional differences, such as resource availability and fuel costs, can drive significant variance in the LCOE values of certain technologies. However, this variance can be mitigated by adjustments to a project’s capital structure to reflect the availability and cost of debt and equity capital. Read more here:
