We are proud to share that Allenmore Hospital (Tacoma, WA) and Good Samaritan Hospital (Puyallup, WA) earned The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval® for hip and knee replacement certification. The Gold Seal is a symbol of quality that reflects a health care organization’s commitment to providing safe and quality patient care. “Certification from The Joint Commission demonstrates our commitment to outstanding care,” says Rob Tamurian, MD, total joint replacement specialist and medical director for MultiCare Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. “Excellence is one of our MultiCare core values, and this certification validates the outstanding level of orthopedic care our patients receive. I’m grateful for our MultiCare perioperative teams for their hard work through this rigorous evaluation process.” Congratulations to the orthopedics team for this accomplishment and recognition.
We are excited to share that Mary Bridge Children's Hospital received the Leapfrog Group Top Children's Hospital Award 2022. Mary Bridge is one of only 12 children’s hospitals in the nation awarded, and recognition is based on achievements in patient safety and quality. This award would not be possible without the dedication and care our employees provide to our patients each day. Today and everyday, we celebrate each of our teams for their commitment to helping kids grow, thrive and heal in our community.
