Diversity is not only important inside Perficient, but is something we consider across all of the organizations we partner with. Perficient colleague Cheryl Scott recently even moderated a discussion for the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) subset group, Women in Industry, where she and other members encouraged thought leaders within the industry to have larger discussions on diversity and inclusion. Ready to come in for an interview at Perficient? Be ready to ask questions. Our colleagues share how important communication is to them.
Our colleagues are encouraged to use their professional skills to give back to the community. Kurt Heslop, lead technical consultant, used his Adobe Experience Cloud expertise to revamp the Hood River Adopt a Dog shelter. He used Adobe Experience Manager (which he describes as “WordPress on steroids”) to streamline the site and move their operations online. And did we mention he also set up a summer internship with his alma mater, Penn State University, to provide professional experience during the process? Great work, Kurt!

Perficient is an organization that prizes our people and wants them to be involved and informed. We regularly engage colleagues in transparent discussions on how the business is doing and where we are headed as a company through avenues like all colleague town halls, executive newsletters, sales enablement calls, public earnings calls, and a variety of team-specific communications. You can follow along, too, by signing up for our Perficient blogs!
"The pandemic has certainly pushed everyone to adapt to working remotely as quickly as possible, and this event proved that this virtual-collaboration approach can sometimes be even more beneficial and successful than in-person events," shares Ritesh Keskar, Director and PIM Consultant at Perficient, of the C-Level @ A Mile High annual event that Perficient proudly sponsored, hosted by the Colorado Technology Association (CTA).
We recently asked the Women in Tech group at Perficient what advice they would give for a woman hoping to build a career in the technology industry and their thoughtful advice was both inspirational and actionable.
See what our colleagues say about our Charlotte, NC office: ?I enjoy the new location for many reasons. Primarily because when you need a change of scenery to concentrate or come up with creative ideas, you can either go to the lounge areas, balcony, conference rooms, game area, or main lobby. And they provide the drinks, as well,? shares Richard Cashman, Director, Charlotte Consulting.
