Trisha's first experience with Providence was as a patient when she came in with a broken hip to Providence Medford Medical Center. The compassionate care she received and the camaraderie she witnessed inspired her to shift from restaurant management to a career as a medical assistant. When she graduated from her MA program, Providence was the first place she applied. āIt was the only place I wanted to work,ā she said. Since then, Trisha has grown in her career with the support of her leaders and coworkers and is now loving her role as a clinical care coordinator. She says, "Itās different from a hospital or urgent care setting ... You see patients all the time, and itās fulfilling to build those bonds and follow their progress. When a patient introduces me to their loved one and says, āThis is Trish, the person I told you about,ā itās such a special moment.ā Trisha's passion and drive are inspiring; it's no wonder she's so loved by her coworkers and patients!
