Over the last month our teams have celebrated LGBTQ+ Pride by participating in local pride parades and festivals, and by hosting celebrations at Sony offices worldwide. This past weekend #TeamSony San Diego participated for the 10th year as a sponsor of the San Diego LGBTQ+ Pride parade and festival. With the help of our local employee network group, Equality Alliance, over 250 employees from Sony Electronics and PlayStation, and Sony Pictures Entertainment walked together in the parade. Our employees continued to celebrate diversity with the community at our stage in the music festival all weekend. We want all our employees to be their whole self and once again received a 100% score on the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index. Thanks to everyone who made this such a successful Pride month!#SonyProud #TeamSony
Last week our teams came together to celebrate #CanadaDay and #USIndependenceDay with food, music and good company. #TeamSony hopes everyone enjoyed a great holiday weekend!
Last week, Senior Vice President of Sony Electronics, Tim Brison, received the Leadership Award at the North San Diego Business Chamber’s annual Celebration of Business event. Tim’s solid leadership was demonstrated when former Sony Electronics employee, Tony Teravainen, received the Impact Award for leading the Support the Enlisted Project (STEP). Sony Electronics leader, Vice President of Corporate Marketing, Michiko Araki Kelley, was installed as new #NSDBC board member. #TeamSony
