Ben H., Senior Manager of Advanced Advertising Sales for Spectrum Reach and Spectrum LGBTQ member, shared his coming out story to honor National Coming Out Day. When Ben came out to his friends and family ahead of his senior year of high school, he was largely met with support and acceptance. However, like most, he also endured difficulties that were hard to face. Looking back, the ability to finally breathe, and truly be himself, was worth more than the hardships. Now, Ben is responsible for driving revenue for Spectrum Reach's digital products. When asked about the culture at Spectrum as a member of the LGBTQ community, Ben replied that the camaraderie and community makes him feel safe, valued, and important.

Eric W. began his career with Spectrum as an associate engineer and within three years worked his way up to a network engineer. Now, as a manager within our Austin Network Operations Center, he’s working alongside a group of peers from a variety of backgrounds and expertise.
