Company Updates

  • Stericycle has many team members in Houston who have been impacted by Hurricane Harvey. The Culture & Engagement team has been working directly with them to provide support and assistance through this endeavor.

Stericycle established an emergency disaster fund that will allow us to wire money directly to team member's in Houston. Once they have been able to assess the damage, they will have the SteriCares Hardship Fund to help them begin the rebuilding efforts.

Team members at all of the 6 Dallas/Fort Worth locations started supply donation efforts so that our DFW drivers can utilize trucks to deliver to our Houston locations. Everyone has pitched in to help make a difference to our own! One Team One Goal!

Thank you to all the leaders and team members who have so graciously donated!

  • On June 24, Stericycle partnered with a San Diego credit union to collect and shred 888,000 pounds of paper in one day, shattering the previous world record! Secure information destruction helps protect our customers, the public and the environment.

  • Another hero story to report! What started as a routine day at work for Toledo route driver Nick Wojtowicz ended in dramatic fashion. Nick helped pull three children and their mother from a car that had flipped on the highway.

  • Kudos to Justin Shepherd! A Stericycle route driver, Justin saved a choking man's life while performing a routine pickup at the American Red Cross in Little Rock, Arkansas. This took the "Protect People" portion of our core purpose to a new level!

  • Stericycle's pharmaceutical consumer takeback suite received a Top Product of the Year Award at the Environmental Leader Product and Project Awards. The suite helps consumers and organizations safely return unwanted medication.
