Members of Stericycle's employee resource group, Latinx Empowerment with Allied Leadership (LEAL), were happy to participate in the Misión of San Juan Diego Church annual festival. The group had a great time taking part while also taking in the live music, vendors, and food. As part of LEAL’s mission, we are always looking to recruit, hire, advance, and promote the Hispanic community within Stericycle.
On June 22nd, Stericycle's recruiter team participated in national hiring events across North America. It was a day filled with great conversations and new team members joining the Stericycle family.

Janet Zelenka Wins Prestigious 2022 Chicago CIO of the Year ORBIE Award. Janet Zelenka, Stericycle’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO), has been named the 2022 Chicago CIO of the Year® ORBIE® award winner in the Enterprise category. For over 20 years, the CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards has honored chief information officers who have demonstrated excellence in technology leadership. The CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards is the premier technology executive recognition program in the United States. Nominees of the Chicago CIO of the Year ORBIE Award were selected through an independent peer-review process, led by past ORBIE recipients in seven key categories – leadership, global, large enterprise, enterprise, corporate, public sector, and nonprofit. Winners were selected based on leadership and management effectiveness, business value created by technology innovation, and engagement in industry and community endeavors.

Stericycle has been recognized for its more gender-balanced board by 50/50 Women on Boards™ (50/50WOB), the leading global education and advocacy campaign driving gender balance and diversity on corporate boards. 50/50WOB commends Stericycle as a “3+” company for having three or more women on its corporate board of directors.
