In 2019, a small team mobilized a big impact. Whether it was activating our community with organizations like Project Bread in the Walk for Hunger, enabling access to technology for pay- what-you-can restaurants, or providing resources and funding to restaurants like Root and Emma’s Torch that offer youth and refugee training programs, we demonstrated that we can make a difference on issues that affect food, our community, and our environment. "Culture has to be watered and fed. You don't just put up core values and say, 'Here are the core values. Now behave.'" - Chris Comparato
No matter what your background is, there's a place for you to launch your career at Toast.
At Toast, our passion for food runs deep. While Toasters come from a myriad of backgrounds, food is the one thing that connects us all. It’s part of our shared humanity. That’s why we partnered with Food & Folklore to launch a six-month diasporic pop-up dinner series that pays homage to indigenous food, farm traditions, and food producers.
