How is the work/life balance at Amazon?

Amazon doesn't call itself a tech company, AWS does. They have great benefits compared to most other forture 500 companies and the work life balance is actually pretty good.

Low work life balance and no perks as compared to any other Big tech company, High attrition and low job security

Great people, fast paced environment, great learning and career building opportunity

No work life balance, low pay for amount of overtime worked

The best thing I feel about working with Amazon in this role is that I am able to maintain a healthy work-life balance here, the other perks are great, people are polite with nice team culture

The only con is limited appraisals/salary hike

Monotonous work is the major con.

its hard to say any, at first you will receive a decent signing bonus that feels encouraging but then you will learn that you work 60+ hours a week, the company has many unethical values and you will not get a raise YoY and are lucky to get any additional stocks after signing bones. You do not get rewarded for overtime or going above an beyond
