      Bad but Good

      Food service assistant
      Current employee

      Business Outlook

      Pros

The pay is great with lots of opportunities for a raise, and the benefits are amazing.

      Cons

If the pay could’ve kept me there, I would’ve stayed but working in a fresh department at Costco is probably the hardest thing you can do. We’re constantly understaffed and constantly put to a very high standard. It became too exhausting and too much for me to deal with when it came to being in college. Can be hard to progress there due to seniority so you will have to be there for at least a year that be considered for different departments.

      Great job

      Pros

Good benefits, great pay, hire from within so a lot of opportunities to move up

      Cons

      Corporate involvement is a lot

      Pros

Good Benefits, they will work with you, paid time off, vacation, sick time.

      Cons

Good pay, Very fast paced, very repetitive, managers have favorites, who ever has seniority always gets jobs over you, a lot of micro managing. mentally draining

Solid work environment if you like retail

      Front end cashier
      Former employee
      Seattle, WA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Decent if not competitive pay compared to local minimum wages, good amount of benefits and resources available.

      Cons

It's retail, you deal with people all day, it's crowded and noisy, sometimes people are difficult, whether it's the customers, or your coworkers, or supervisors, or managers, and depending on what you do you either stand in one spot for eight hours or spend all day carrying heavy stuff.

      Just Okay

      Pros

good pay for not needing experience, great insurance, and opportunity for raises are better than most jobs when it comes to how frequently they come

      Cons

the management staff is awful: lack of communication seems to be a necessity for them; a huge lack of problem-solving and attitude problems make it a subpar work environment.
