Pros
Amazing culture - However, it may vary from team to team. As far as I can tell, I have been having the best work and team culture at Hays compared to any other company I have worked for so far. The team has been very helpful when I started and have supported me to grow into my role.
Opportunity to learn - There is abundance opportunity to learn and grow within the team and externally.
Hybrid work and flexibility - Hybrid work provides flexibility by default. However, flexibility at Hays goes beyond hybrid work i.e. short days during slow seasons, able to take leave when needed given that you are not going to impede critical tasks, miss important deadlines, etc.
Love the work - I am loving my role here and there is micro-management is non-existent which empowers you to do your own work at your own pace. Certainly, it puts more responsibility but taking on responsibility is an essential part of growth.
Visibility - Exec Management and immediate leaders always keep the team
Cons
Pay - Range of pay is not the worst but it can certainly be improved given the fact that literally everything is becoming super expensive due to inflation and other economic factors.
Benefits - Benefits other than pay can also be improved i.e. reasonable healthcare benefits, rewards that may attract an employee to stay longer than 3-5 years, etc.
