      Pros

Great benefits, talented people, and lots of opportunities to try new things/innovate depending on your manager.

      Cons

A little chaotic at times, typical to tech, lots of learning as you do

      Pros

      Hybrid work, flexible, great people!

      Cons

This company always raves about providing a great employee experience yet they never deliver. They have zero development opportunities and have not given a salary increase or any incentive to keep working for Nutanix for a few consecutive years. This is a slap in the face for those who go above and beyond and keep this company going. Moreover they are taking away benefits one by one resulting in further losses to employees. How exactly are you trying to retain your talent and motivate your employees? Or is it you just couldn’t care less? As the review below mentions this company WILL take advantage of you. They will lure you in with a great salary and benefits then cut you short year after year. I would not recommend anyone to join Nutanix.

We encourage you to actively share feedback in our employee surveys and to talk with your manager or People Business Partner if you’d like to discuss more.

      Average Salary with average wlb

      Mts-3 software engineer
      Current employee
      Bengaluru
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Competitive market-aligned salary – neither the highest nor the lowest, but stable and fair for the role. Decent work-life balance – predictable hours most weeks, with manageable workloads. Job security and steady growth – stable org structure, low volatility in responsibilities. Supportive peers and collaborative environment – good team culture helps offset average compensation. Clear processes and documentation – reduces stress and context switching. Good learning curve – enough challenges to keep you growing without burning out.

      Cons

Salary hikes can be slow – increments and bonuses are moderate compared to top-tier companies. Work-life balance varies by team – good on average but spikes during releases or critical projects. Limited exposure to high-impact / cutting-edge work – can feel stagnant after some time. Middle-management can be rigid – decision-making may feel slow. Benefits package is average – nothing exceptional, just standard industry offerings. Career progression not very fast – promotions require long cycles and consistent advocacy.

      Pros

Great benefits, talented people, good opportunities especially in departments that are driving profits and thus have better resourcing.

      Cons

A little chaotic, still trying to grow and standardize a lot as a company. Communication and finding information can be a struggle.

      Pros

Remote work, flex PTO (when you actually feel like you can take it)

      Cons

No room for career advancement or even continuing education. Lack of incentive to stay after your initial RSUs vest. No RSU refresh is offered and the merit increases have been nearly non-existent the last 2 years.
