      Pros

I would say laptop, salary. Headset , Ms office, teams, internet….. I mean there no Pros in SolarWinds.

      Cons

Tech is outdated , HR Function is dishonest and management are toxic and they don’t know what they are doing.. your sales manager check on your commissions every month with envy, and makes sure you don’t get paid another good pay check by increase your quota every time especially if you are not one of the their buddies..

Pretty typical company, pretty good benefits and competitive pay.

      Cons

Typical "big company" stuff. A lot of red tape, useless training, etc

Company is 4 years without stability

      Pros

Pay is great while it lasted, spend way over industry standard to try and covet people who are in better companies, lots of short term band-aid thinking.

      Cons

So many cuts of the good staff I've have lost count. Somehow the cheats, the toxic, the gossipers and the yes men/women are sticking around. Business trips to India, Portugal, Thailand and Ireland suddenly turn in extended holidays all too frequently, its a concerning trend, some of the management are milking the company dry in plain sight. 2 orgs that seem to run the show Renewals Leadership and Finance... both of whom are preventing net new sales to grow. Most new roles are opening in cheaper cost centres, on paper it looks good but they are missing out on in region talent for which they cannot seem to comprehend.

Exciting culture, great pay, learning a lot

      Pros

Leadership is very hands on but in a very supportive way. As long as you are a good project manager in a high velocity environment and are on top of your accounts and opportunities, you should do well. The knowledge will come with time and you have great support on calls to help as you get ramped up. I have worked at other similar companies, and the upper leadership is not intimidating at all. They are all very likable and approachable and even funny! Old reviews say differently, but it is my understanding those reviews are from before our new CRO. Customers love SolarWinds and are interested in learning about new advancements we've made to the platform. It makes it easy to get introduced to your accounts and drum up new business. It feels good to work for a company where the employees enjoy working together, yey are all vou can tell there is this sense of family because a lot of the employees are very tenured. That says a lot about a company when you are surrounded by tenure. Everyone is so welcoming and happy to help. You have to go in the office 3 days a week (tues-thurs), and still get the luxury of working from home Mon and Fri. I havent worked in a full office since covid and I must say I missed it. You get a lot of work done. Theres a cafeteria and a gym on campus, as well as a pretty little walking trail and a covered parking garage. They believe in diversity and inclusion and thats what makes us great!

      Cons

They feed you a lot so you might gain the freshman 15 if you aren't careful. Depeneding how you look at it, you have to go into the office three days a week. But I will say it doesn't feel like torture, just dealing with traffic can be a bummer. The initial training could be a little more robust. There is a great repository of resources and learning material, but its more self guided to learn that stuff. The most value I got out of training was when a SE booked daily trainings to allow us to ask questions and walk through demos in a small group. I think there could be a more structured path for guided training, that follows a schedule over a set period of time.

      Pros

moderate salary, some flexibility in working hours

      Cons

You can work there if you like unorganized environment, frequently changing teams-managers- priotisations. Working infrastructure not enough settled for ongoing projects, always needs new initiatives, and you'll be organizing all project planning-management-meeting-decision-implementation process. Be prepared not to be appreciated with your work, and be asked not enough in the end.
