      Cons

      Went through two rounds of layoffs. Definitely took a toll on culture but it’s starting to go back to normal

      Benefits, a platform that so many people use and love, fun creator-centric culture with interesting problems to solve and work on, good compensation and benefits (though the benefits are constantly being taken away to save money)

      Leadership is indecisive, company is in decline, layoffs are frequent and large, company is not profitable, Amazon has unrealistic and inconsistent expectations for Twitch, community is always mad at Twitch because of inept decision making, launching product is nearly impossible due to cross-company politics

      - pay and benefits are good - plenty of good and smart co-workers, just not within leadership - depending on your role and how much you can play the Amazon game, can have a big impact

      - toxic gamer culture that has gotten worse after layoffs - company priorities currently determined by CEO's whims - 2 layoffs took out over half the company, everyone is scared - increasing AMZN influence and culture
