One on one individual interview that encourages you to dress the part for the image of Abercrombie. Group interviews allow you share your thoughts while bouncing off of each others’ input.
The hiring manager asks questions about the store's history, and why is teamwork and diversity important. Usually a group interview, very informal. They like you to be wearing their latest clothes and look as close to their "look policy" as possible. If they like you, the interview/ hiring process goes very quickly. They are constantly looking for new people and love "fresh faces."
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Santa Barbara, CA)
Interview
A manager sat a group of us down outside the store somewhere within the mall. They asked specific questions about the Abercrombie style and brand. They didn't ask much about the candidates individually. This was many years ago, so I'm sure it's different now.
I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Philadelphia, PA)
Interview
Small group interview in the mall round table questions. Easy, don’t copy the other answers that’s it. Hear back pretty quick. Overall great vibe would highly recommend it to college students
