I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Allstate (Atlanta, GA) in Apr 2015
Interview
The application process is well set up and maintained. There may be a waiting period before you hear anything, but once you get your foot in, it moves quickly. Hr does a good job at answering question and replying back in a timely fashion. The online testing is not overly difficult and easy to understand. If you don't have customer service experience, you will struggle. Answer your question as you would in a retail setting with dealing with an angry customer. Dress to impress at the 1:1. Don't be uptight, but don't be to casual. These are people too. Be outgoing and confident but not arrogant. You'll need more than a college degree for this job, so have some relevant work experience ready. Don't try and BS your way through, they will see right through it.

Interview
Post application I received an online assessment which I completed. My interview was scheduled within 48 hours of the assessment. My interview was a typical behavioral interview where they ask questions about situations you’ve encountered in the past. Approximately 50 minutes total. I received the job offer 48 hours later. The interview process was easy, and the HR representative kept me updated every step.

Interview
Pretty smooth interview process. Two people were interviewing me and they polite and patient. They are looking for STAR format answers. Some of the questions they ask you are time management base as well which can be kind of tricky. Overall was a nice learning experience and interview process.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate (Portland, OR) in Oct 2022
Interview
1. Online Assessment 2. Zoom Interview - listen to overview of job and responsibilities and decide if still interested in the job - behavioral based questions - scenario exercise
The process itself was easy - the interviewer was the problem. Usually had two interviewing, but this time it was just one person because the other guy was out of the office. Seems to me they should have found a replacement or rescheduled. Judgement was based solely on one person's perspective.
Interviewer talked 90% of the time. Was very impatient with the scenario-based questions; barely had time to read it before he wanted an answer. Was told there was no right or wrong answer (but that is just ridiculous), why even have them if they mean nothing? Seemed hostile towards female applicants.
