The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (New York, NY)
Interview
I was called through Fresherworld. The the timing was 10 a.m. and so many people have reached there in time and they started the process at about 12:00 p.m. and they were called so many people for so many profiles in one same day and they were really confused about what to do next, that was really not a good positive thing for a recruitment process for any of the profile and we went to appear for a Aptitude Test which was very very easy, anyone with strong basics can easily crack that and then they told us to come the next day for the next interview around and they told us to mail to the shortlisted candidates and I got shortlisted and the next day I went there for the interview, first round was technical interview it was basically on aptitude, the interviewer gave me 6 to 7 aptitude questions and in front of him I was supposed to solve that and I felt that they will easy if you know the basics then you can get them and after that I got selected for the final round. The HR gave me five to six question again and then he started asking me about the normal general questions like where do you see yourself in the next five years etc etc but he was so rude and so frustrated that he was not in a mood listen to my answers. I don't know what happened to me, where I went wrong but I could not answer properly or maybe because he was not interested he was very much frustrated and he was very much irritated so if you guys get the selected for the final round then please make sure that you will not get affected by the mood of the interviewer, they are conducting so many interviews in one single day and they are getting frustrated on the candidates only and this affects the results of the candidates I still don't know what went wrong with me. best of luck.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Bengaluru) in Jun 2026
Interview
The interview was short and brisk, right on the point, no introductions asked since they already have the resume, dove right into technical questioning after giving a brief introduction of the day-to-day roles and responsibilities. The interviewer was very friendly and comforting, since this was my first time interviewing for a FAANG company, i was a tad nervous but the interviewer made sure i felt comfortable and asked me to take my time ansering the questions which helped me a lot. Listened with utmost patience, asked very necessary questions only which helped her understanding the candidate's knowledge which can be transferrable to the process. It was SQL based interview and the interviewer gave a sample data but also suggested if i have a sample data myself, i could go ahead show her the query there since she wanted to know my understanding level of structuring and not the actual results (since it was sample data). It was very comforting and easy to go with and for a Level 3 role, I would say know your data and practice before you just jump into the interview because you would never know what questiong might come up. And at the end of the interview the interviewere asked if i had any questions and i did ask her around 4 - 5 questions and she did elaborate on all of them and gave me a clear picture of what i was looking for in an answer. So overall i would say it was very comforting and even tho i felt a bit nervous in the beginning once i had a chat with the interviewer i was okay. All thanks to her friendly way of dealing with nervous candidates.

Good and wasn't bad, there was a test and then an interview. Though interview was scheduled after too long. So it was a bit tedious and the wait was anxious
