I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (New York, NY)
Interview
Missing the forest for the trees. Felt that some interviewers were more obsessed with ensuring that my answers checked certain boxes related to their leadership principles and were not clearly listening to my stories. They did not make a good impression nor did it feel organic. Felt more like testing you are able to follow a prescribed interview format rather than a genuine conversation about experiences, skills, and goals. Asked no questions about future plans or goals so don't bother preparing answers for questions like "where do you see yourself in 5 years."
Give them context - some places want your STAR method answers to be 90 - 120 seconds, but for Amazon go longer for context and task explanations.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (São Paulo, São Paulo)
Interview
The process took a very long time and after 4 rounds of interviwes I got only an auto rejection email. The company check only the Leadership principles, and it looks like they don't have an interest in smth else. Anyway people were nice, the case study was interesting as well.

Did a test task and was called by HR almost immediately for the next round. But salary range (full packet with stock and benefits) and return to office policy did nit much my expectations
