I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters (Cincinnati, OH) in Feb 2008
Interview
I took part in a group interview at a location that is now closed. They asked pretty straight forward questions but really focused on customer relations. I interviewed with them once during that interview and received a phone call a week later. They offered me the job at a little above minimum wage and I started the following week.

Question 1
The most difficult question that I was asked was probably "If you were part of a salad... what part would you be? Why?"

Interview
It was very easy as I knew someone who worked there. They got me an interview and asked me basic questions. They verbally gave me an offer on the spot and I got a offical offer a week later.
