I am putting a neutral experience because before the phone interview the process was great (extremely fast responses and a helpful recruiter). The interview, however, was a negative experience. Typically in coding interviews the interviewer will discuss things with you as you go along, for mine it was like talking to a wall. I would say something and try and discuss it and he would either give a one word answer like "ok" or just no response at all, it felt extremely awkward. This really messed me up, and even though I ended up solving the problem (basically by myself) I failed the interview in their eyes it because I didn't look far ahead enough in time. It felt extremely unfair that I failed because of this, in every other coding interview I've had this problem would have been solved with an interviewer who actually discusses things with you.
