I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Atrion Networking (Warwick, RI) in Jan 2016
Interview
I was contacted via email on a monday, after an exchange of emails on that day we made an appointment for a phone interview on that wednesday at 11am. 10 minutes before he was supposed to call he emailed me saying he was sick and we should reschedule for that friday for the same time. Come Friday, he never called, or responded to any of my emails over the next week. Very unprofessional. I applied again to the same job and spoke to a different recruiter over the phone (with no notice) and was given an over the phone interview, afterwards he asked me to speak to me in person a week later. The in person interview was me, and three employees asking me questions.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Atrion Networking (Warwick, RI) in Oct 2014
Interview
Casual, hands-on, and fun! This was a very low-pressure panel interview with 3-4 other folks asking a mix of situational and technical questions. You are told from the very beginning that there are no wrong answers, to be calm and honest, and that they're simply trying to gauge what you know and what type of person you are. Half of the interview is the traditional FAQ type stuff, while the other half is hands-on drawing stuff out on a white board and troubleshooting various scenarios.

I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Atrion Networking (Warwick, RI) in Sep 2013
Interview
Multiple interviews. Company tries to find the right people and then figure out which job they are best suited for. Interview process is usually multiple months and can be as long as one year. I thought that the first interview went well but then I did not hear from the company for over one month. They told me that this was normal but it still caused me a bit of anxiety as i knew this was the company I wanted to work for.
