Applied for the role, received an email letting me know I had a strength based interview, with two members of the team. The interview was pushed back due as one had gone on annual leave, with the time slot being reduced from 1 hour to 30 mins. I was interviewed a week later, by a lady from a different team who proceeded to ask me competency questions. Which is fine but the email and Aviva website states they conduct strength based interviews. A panel of one and different interview to what was advertised threw me off slightly but answered all the questions well. It almost felt like they didn’t care and was doing just to tick a box with the vacancy already likely filled (which they did in fact go with internal candidates). I was told I would hear back a week later, two months later and a few follow up emails sent, I’m still yet to hear back…
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Aviva in Mar 2024
Interview
Standard interview asking about my experience, why I wanted to work for Aviva, talk me through a project you've led.
Radio silence for six weeks after interview, so I contacted Aviva for an update - they said they'd pass on to the hiring manager to get back to me. Still nothing, so I contacted them again to ask for a further update - still no reply. Really poor communication from Aviva.
