1) First stage: screening with HR/internal sourcing team. - This consisted of an informal 15-30 minutes CV run-through.
2) Second stage: 30 min interview/informal chat/CV run through. - This was actually a competency based interview.
3) Third stage: competency based interview. - I didn't get through to this stage.
The first stage went quite well and the internal sourcing team were a pleasure to speak with.
The second stage with the hiring managers was absolutely awful. They were both standoff-ish from the beginning of the call and they created pressure by saying that the full 30 minutes wasn't required (which was the total time allocated). The interview ended up being competency based, and it wasn't a CV run-through, which is what I was instructed it would be.
To add, one of the interviewers didn't speak English well, and that made the entire process a lot harder due to the language barrier.
It's fair to say that they both were quite disinterested in my answers and keen to get off the call as soon as possible.
Absolutely awful experience. Even if I went through to the next stage, I would have likely declined. They need to really look into the way they conduct interviews.
This is a genuine negative rating purely based on the unfair treatment I went through, not the declined offer.
