I was contacted by a recruiter via LinkedIn and had a great interaction with the recruiter. I was then scheduled for a zoom interview with the Director of HR. It was an hour long interview and a great one at that. I was then told by the recruiter that I was going to be scheduled for a second zoom interview with a member of the senior leadership team. I provided my availability and waited. I didn’t hear anything for a few days so I followed up to confirm the interview was still on. With an apology for the delay, I was provided a date and time along with zoom details for the interview. Less than five minutes later, I was told via email that the interview was canceled because an offer had been accepted for the position I was under consideration for. I had great expectations for the possibility of working for BrightEdge but after seeing how they handle their interview process, especially for an HR position I am happy the decision was made for me.
