    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at CORT in May 2016.

    Interview

Received an email request from a recruiting manager in VA to schedule a 30 minute phone interview. Was contacted during our scheduled time. The call was very brief as their starting base salary was way below market ($100K + 50% bonus) considering the job title, responsibilities, and experience expectations. She asked a few question on gaps in employment, relocation, but everything fell apart when we discussed compensation. Advice to Cort: screen salary expectations in the online application process so you don't waste anyone's time. I can't believe I spend a few hours prepping and researching the company only to have a 5 minute call. Cort should also reconsider their job titles.
