Chef is an incredible group of people with serious products and deep technology. Every person I interacted with has been genuinely humble and ridiculously smart. I couldn't accept the generous offer for unrelated personal reasons, but I very much hope to work with these folks in the near future. To me, this is the sort of company everybody wants to be but falls short. Chef actually does it. The interview process only took a ~week. It started with a great conversation, followed by a very interesting homework challenge, and then a few more conversations - technical and soft. I loved Chef's culture, the products, and the tech.
