Interview
Unpleasant interview experience. I have had interviews that didn’t end up with an offer - totally normal - they were professional and friendly. This one was odd, to say the least. I had a Zoom screening with a recruiter. The interview was rescheduled to next week last minute. The rescheduled interview didn’t include a zoom link and I asked for it in the day before the interview, still wasn’t sent until the interview time started. All these are completely fine if the interview was normal but the interviewer was looking weirdly upset, never smiled, and it was the most boring interview I ever had. It’s like the interviewer hated their job, or their life, or just me.

Interview
Extremely fast process, each step followed up by the recruiter asking for feedback & providing next steps. The most streamlined and efficient interviewing process I’ve had yet so far.
Each step provided more clarity and expectation setting to the role.

Question 1
Standard interview questions: why are you suitable for the position and why is this company interesting to you?
- Interviewer, based in Singapore had her camera off which I thought was both rude and bizarre
- Robotic in nature and made no attempt to be personable or warm
- I could barely hear her or understand her
- asked the most generic interview questions
- at the end of the interview did NOT ask me if I had any questions and kept saying that she has many more people to interview and was basically saying ok you're not going through.

Interview
3 rounds of Interview ( 1 with the Recruiter, 1 with the Hiring Manager alone, the last interview is with the Hiring Manager, Director and a current Customer Success Associate). Each interview was 30 mins. Make sure you understand what Datadog is and have all your answers formatted in the STAR method.
