I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Dillard's (Chandler, AZ) in Dec 2009
Interview
I talked with salespeople in the store, and they recommended that I apply. They were not accepting applications, but thru personal introductions to the managers, I was allowed to apply. They called me about 2 weeks later for an interview. I got a phone call asking me to come and be a model in a wedding fashion show. I thought that I had gotten the job, but it turns out it was not paid. They were required to use employees only, and they thought since I was "in the system" that they would get away with it. I got a job offer a couple days later.
I did an application online got a call from a manager a couple days later. Went in for an interview. Met with two people the same day. A couple days later I got an email with an offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you feel that you would benefit this company?
The store manager was kind and understanding. The interview was quick and easy. He was very willing to give opportunities even with little to no experience with opportunities to earn commissions and learn from others.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dillard's (Hurst, TX) in Sep 2025
Interview
This was a four step interview process held with four different ppl. Very easy & straight to the point. Description of job was explained very well. The interview process was unusual than most interviews, but it not difficult at all.
