I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Dillard's in Aug 2010
Interview
I walked in numerous times asking for a manager, I had trouble getting a hold of her. When I finally came in when she was available she interviewed me right away. It wasn't like a normal interview--she basically just told me about the job and asked me if I'd be interested, didn't really ask me about my qualifications. Then you take a personality test on the computer.
Easy, few job related questions. schedual flexability. Shifts avilabiltys, days and holidays avilabilitys. Your job rolle, expectation, traning, education, refrences. Work history and reson for chosing the store. It is a simple easy procces, more like meet and greet.
I did an application online got a call from a manager a couple days later. Went in for an interview. Met with two people the same day. A couple days later I got an email with an offer.

Question 1
How do you feel that you would benefit this company?
The store manager was kind and understanding. The interview was quick and easy. He was very willing to give opportunities even with little to no experience with opportunities to earn commissions and learn from others.
