Question 1
Case study on how you would prioritize a given task list for the day
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Sep 2013
Interview
This was actually in 2012. I was impressed by the free flight and hotel. Looking back though, the interview was rather sketchy. They did not have me interview with anyone who actually worked as a TS-just the HR. Looking back, that was a big red flag. I did have lunch with a TS TL, but it was nothing more than a lunch with some brief conversation, the TL did not seem interested in finding out about us.
During the HR test, the hiring manager asked me what my parents do for a living. I thought that was very weird, and it was clearly a question they ask everyone.
They had another interviewer ask some behavioral questions. Nothing out of the ordinary or difficult.
Took typical interview tests, including a pseudocode test.
Initial phone conversation with another TS. Virtual interview with other candidates, main question was about how to handle a hypothetical situation with competing priorities. Technical coding interview (similar to Leetcode from what I know).
