- Rembrandt Profile: I don't remember taking this (although I'm sure I took it) . - Phone Interview: I had a 30 minute behavioral interview with someone in the same position which I applied for. The interview went smoothly, as he was friendly and made the process comfortable. I think what's really important in this step is to emphasize how passionate you are about improving the quality of patient care in the US, and how you will do that at Epic. - Technical Skills Assessment: Others have voiced that this part is difficult. I, too, was daunted. Personally, though, I did not think it was hard. The exam tests your basic reading, quantitative, and critical thinking skills, rather than your knowledge. So, regardless of your academic background (STEM, the arts, or the humanities), as long as you carefully read and understand the questions, you should be fine in this portion (for your reference, I have a background in mathematics, but trust me, you do not need to have advanced quantitative skills to complete this test). - Final Interview Round: This part is broken up into multiple sections, but the main one you need to pay attention to is the group case study. A senior project manager presented me and one other project manager applicant with a hypothetical work situation / crisis, and asked me and the other applicant how we would respond / react. There are no right or wrong answers, but there are right and wrong ways of explaining your rationale. Remain calm, take a minute to think the questions over if you need it, and demonstrate that you would be someone who they would want to work with. Overall, the process was relatively straightforward and quite pleasant. If you are accepted for this position, then congratulations! Epic truly is a great company and full of very smart, lovely people from all walks of life.
