    Interview

There is a 2 stage interview process for internal employees. Consultant interviews typically depend on the customer preferences. For internal recruiters it is largely personality based. They want to see how personable you are. They will also be asking about your GPA and extra curricular activies - to see how you multi-task and if you are successful at it.

    Interview Questions

    • It is a fairly easy interview, there are no trick questions to throw you off. Make sure you know your strengths / weaknesses and why you want to job.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

There is no negotiation. We hire people right out of college and start everyone off at the same base salary. Commission and bonuses come shortly after, but that is up to the individual to obtain.

    IT Recruiter Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Southfield, MI

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Epitec (Southfield, MI) in March 2014.

    Interview

We had an initial phone interview, then I went in for an in-person interview. One interviewer was incredibly intense. This job, as defined to me, is an aggressive sales position. I'm not interested in sales, and that was clear during the interview. A big red flag was when the employee told me they have training classes every three weeks. I'm not interested in working somewhere with high turnover. That usually means something odd is going on - whether it be hiring inept people, not training thoroughly, etc. If you're into sales, this job is perfect for you, as you'll make a base salary. If you're not into sales, you should probably look elsewhere.
