Come in and interview with the head cashier or store manager after putting in an application and following up. I would call weekly to see if you got an interview or not
I went in for an interview. it was friendly. i took my identification. They hired me and i went on to work for them. They wanted to make sure i was old enough. I had to answer a few questions.

Interview
It was alright. They can be a bit tight about certain things but it was still a decent interview to say the least. I appreciate the opportunity. The workplace can be real iffy though.
