I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ford Motor Company
Interview
Talked to Ford at campus career fair and was asked to sign up for an interview on campus. Before the interview day, Ford had a company day with their vehicles and engineers on campus, follwed by a presentation by an exec. Got to meet and talk to a lot of Ford employees, then had a basic 30 minute interview with STAR questions and why Ford should hire me. Got an offer about a week or two later.
I was asked about finding software bugs, a big decision I had to make and how I made it. I was also asked about a leadership position. I was asked about making changes to the baseline of software.

Interview
I applied through a mutual contact from my network. They forwarded me to a hiring team. After some emails, I was given a time to interview with two Ford employees over the phone. I was asked behavioral questions, and about my past experiences and projects. Afterwards, I was given an offer.
I would recommend being prepared to talk about past engineering projects and experiences, and how they shaped you. They may ask you to explain the project and/or what it was like to work on that
I applied online. I interviewed at Ford Motor Company in Jan 2018
Interview
First round is an online web assessment and second round is a two person interview. Overall the recruiters were very friendly and this was one of the better interview processes I have gone through.
