I applied to various jobs within GE on their website, I don't think that I had originally applied to this job, but was contacted within a week of my other application. The person who contacted me set up a phone interview for the next day. That interview went well. I was then called about 6 days later and had a 2nd "impromptu" phone interview that had not been scheduled. I few days later I was contacted again and asked if I would like to fly to Louisville to interview. Of course I said yes. I was flown in and completed 4 interviews with 5 people from 11:30am - 5:00pm. There were also 4 other people interviewing for the same position that day so we rotated through the interviewers. Everyone that I interviewed with was extremely friendly, kind and sincerely seemed interested in me, my experiences, qualifications and my reasonings for wanting to work for GE. I was very comfortable and they also held a laid back luncheon for us where we were able to ask questions from those who were currently or had gone with the same position/training program. I enjoyed my time there and am hoping for the best, I feel that I was very qualified for the position. I have not received any word back yet, but it has only been 6 days since I interviewed and I was told that there were two more interviews to be completed and that the HR manager would be traveling this week.
