Strange interview process, lasted over 8 months with multiple conversations, only to be informed the role is being canned. Thankfully didn’t have to go through the final interviews, but would have liked transparency beforehand.

Interview
Received a call back from the recruiter, who was very nice and detailed. They moved me to the next round to meet with the hiring manager the following week. Unfortunately, the hiring manager had no energy, asked mundane questions and did not smile once during the interview. They asked if I had any questions and I had a few related to the role, what they view success as, etc. but they were not trying to answer them and ended the call early.

Interview
Applied and was sent an email to schedule a screening call with Talent Acquisition, after which I moved forward to the next video interview. I did receive an email the following week (when they said I would) informing me they had gone with another candidate.
