I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GoHealth (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2017
Interview
Got email through Vettery (some company similar to indeed) website that how their CTO are impressed about my working background and would love to hire me
- Take home assignment
- I spent 3 days to do this.
- Got the rejection email only 3 minutes after I submit my application without any feedbacks or comments.
Look like a scam for me, a huge waste of my time and effort.
Should not reply in the beginning, not even talk to a real person for the whole process.
Not recommended at all.

Other Software Engineer Interview Reviews for GoHealth
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GoHealth (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2024
Interview
This interview started off incredibly promising. Both the recruiter I talked to and the engineer who conducted my interview left good impressions on me. After my interview with the lead engineer, I was asked to do a take-home project. I was tasked with creating an API that would keep track of and update tickets for an IT department, with certain information included for each user. It was a simple enough assignment, but still something that takes considerably more time than your typical algorithm assessment via Hackerrank or CodeSignal. After completing the project, I sent my GitHub link, and waited. And waited. And I’m still waiting. It’s been 3 weeks now. I’ve tried calling, I’ve tried emailing, and I’ve gotten nothing in response. Not even an automated email. I’ve written bad reviews for interviews before, but this might be the worst I’ve ever experienced. The level of a lack of professionalism and disrespect is quite frankly astounding. They couldn't even send an email, or make a 5 minute phone call to say that they've gone with another candidate?
Take home assignment to implement bigrams parser. Relatively simple - implemented in node and used Jest for testing. Have nothing else to add on this, not sure why this form requires a 30 word minimum - seems excessive.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Take home assessment to implement a bigrams parser output into a historgram.
Recruiter reached out from vettery. Had telephonic interview. Then coding excersize to print out frequencies of birams from text. Then onsite interview for 3 hrs. First round with one developer, second round with two managers, and third one with another senior developer. I don't think they interview candidates based on requirement/or if they have openings. Since its from vettery, they just interview candidates for fun and not even consider providing feedback even when reached out to recruiter asking feedback.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Tricky questions in java, string references of objects, object imutability.
