      Account Manager Interview

      Aug 23, 2016
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at GoPro in Jun 2016

      Interview

Received an employee referral and heard back from the recruiter within a few days. The interview process was a mess from the beginning. Recruiter was 30 minutes late calling me for the initial interview and only after I emailed her asking if she was still planning to call me. Once she did call me, however, she was confused on who I was. Apparently, I was one of two applicants who shared the same first name so she wasn't sure which applicant she had called. The rest of the call went rather smoothly but I was still shocked by the start of the interview. I had a second interview with the hiring manager a week later and was scheduled to have a third call with the director but that never happened. In the midst of the interview process, I received a generic rejection email from HR even though I was still lined up for another interview. Overall, I was very disappointed with the interview process.
