I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Groupon (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2013
Interview
I met with 3 groups of people to discuss my interests and skills, then took a brief written / typing test on a computer. It was a mass interview in the sense that you were waiting in a lobby with other potential employees, but you met one-on-one with managers and employees from the department so it didn't feel impersonal.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Various CS-style inquiries (such as if a customer called in and said their dog had died and wanted to return their dog-grooming voucher, what would you do?) and personal experience questions about previous work, hobbies, etc.
The interview process is simple and they're 4 rounds as listed below;
1. GD
2. Versant test
3. Manager round (Email writing)
4. HR round (Salary discussion)
Once selected, you'll be given the offer letter and you can join.

They'll ask you write an email based on a customer's issue.
The process was great and expectations were clearly communicated. The person that interviewed me was very energetic. They spoke to me about the history of the role and what they needed within the position.

I applied online. I interviewed at Groupon (Bengaluru)

It was easy and was able to crack it. Basic interview rounds and good company to work with. You can go for it if you are interested to work in customer service and okey with night shifts.
