I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Groupon (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2019
Interview
Applied online and got an email response for a phone interview pretty quickly. I did know an employee there and used him as a referral and had previously applied for another job in the past here as well. Initial phone screening with a recruiter was pretty standard, questions on background, why Groupon and why this role. Scheduled an in-person interview that same week to come into the office.
Spoke with a manager and the department head, more conversational than a true interview with "tell me about a time.." questions than going down my resume. They told me they were going to connect the following week and got the offer 5 days later.
