I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at HubSpot (Singapore) in Sep 2020
Interview
The interviewing itself took about 1 month, but I never got a response in the end. It included:
1) screening call
2) interview with hiring manager
3) 2hr coaching session and product demo
4) panel presentation
5) 4 1:1 interview with team members
After completing my final round, the recruiter said they wouldn't be able to give me an answer for 2 weeks because candidates were JUST starting the interview process.
Fast forward 2+ weeks later, I reach out to the recruiter who says they still won't be able to make a decision for another 2-4 weeks because there are candidates who are JUST starting the process.
Then I received an offer from another company and emailed the recruiter, who just never responded. Finally, I decided to go with the other offer. It was a frustrating and disappointing end to what was actually a great interview process with the team itself.
I invested a tremendous amount of my time interviewing, and I would expect Hubspot to have narrowed down their applicants before putting me through the entire process in the first place, and of course the courtesy of a response in the end. The worst part is that I really love the Hubspot product having used it for a few years, as well as the company's ethos but this really puts a bad taste in my mouth.

Comment vous arbordez un collaborateur qui sous performe?
I applied online. I interviewed at HubSpot (London, England) in Aug 2025
Interview
Recruiter Screen,
1:1 with Hiring Manager,
Panel with Hiring Manager and Senior Leader,
30/60/90 Presentation
Rejected after meeting the hiring manager, but a feedback session was scheduled with clear and constructive reasons to work on. It's disappointing that this felt so unusual, but well done Hubspot for doing what others should.
Only criticism was that the interview was rigidly 7 questions, I understand the need for consistency, but the way it was structured with points interrupted on the basis they would be used again later made for a disjointed experience.
