I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at IBM (Telephone, TX)
Interview
It was a very informal interview, I was already familiar with the hiring manager. The interviewer asked specifics regarding my XL and SQL query skills, and for examples of my work since I was applying as a transfer and the data would not be compromised.

Question 1
It was not scripted, it was very casual, asking questions regarding my past experience and what I was looking for in the next job
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at IBM
Interview
The entire process was 70 days long with applying online, phone screen, in-person interview, another phone interview, a request to re-apply online so they could prepare the offer. After 70 days in the process, having to apply again, and chatting with folks on the phone and then in person only to chat on the phone again, I told them I wasn't interested. If you have to jump through so many hoops when they like you and want to hire you, how many hoops do you have to jump through when you work there?

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IBM (Somers, NY) in Nov 2015
Interview
The first step was a campus interview. It was very informal and conversational. The second interview was at the Somers location and there were there 45-minute interviews. They were generally behavioral type questions and there was really no curve ball. Expect your traditional behavioral questions but also research about the company and have your list of reasons why you want to work there.
