I applied online. I interviewed at InterSystems in Feb 2024
Interview
This was just an initial screening, but I decided not to go forward with the process given the details uncovered during the discussion. Initially, they wanted me to take multiple online assessments, which would be timed, camera on. I refused to do that until I had some kind of talk with someone about the position first, hence this discussion.
They are insisting everyone come into the office multiple days a week. Zero flexibility on that. Business attire required! Then, no matter how much experience you have, they want you to start at an entry-level position, at entry-level pay.
With all the cumbersome process and "paying your dues", this feels like an old-school law firm, rather than a tech company.
I bowed out of the process and told them to remove my resume from their database.
